The Quilt Makers Club

This popular club will continue but with the start of a brand new year, lets change it up a little bit! - Every month you will have a brand new classic star block pattern with innovative and time saving piecing techniques to learn while making it. Make a star every month and by the end of the year you will have enough to make a wonderful bed size quilt! The creative layouts for all the blocks will remain a mystery until the end of the year, but it will be worth waiting for! Of course, ideas on how to use every particular block by itself will be provided every month too! The class is $5.00 and includes the pattern.

Sat. 10:30 Sept. 27, skip Oct., Nov. 22, Dec. 20 call 837-1372 to join!

Calling Those Who Sew and Those Who Don't Help TOT Help
Those Coping with Breast Cancer Treatment

The American Cancer Society's program, Reach to Recovery, matches breast cancer survivors with breast cancer patients. The survivors give of their time to visit the breast cancer patients after surgery, to answer their questions, provide comfort and support and give them a "recovery" kit containing things to help smooth their recovery. One of those things is a "Comfort Pillow" which helps ease pressure in the area of the surgery. All supplies are provided, but it is a big help if you bring your scissors. You can bring your sewing machine too if you like.

Join Us at TOT Sunday, October 19 from 1-4

We need people to cut out the hats and pillows, sew them together, stuff the pillows and finish them off. So even if you can't sew a stitch but want to help we have things you can do. (No small children Please)
